Africa in Wales?

In our business coaching group today, they reviewed our publicity for our Wild Welsh Wanderings mini-expedition, and challenged us to say what was the single principle benefit anyone would get by coming.

Interesting question!

We designed the expedition as a part of the training for a group of people, aiming to climb Kili next year. The Welsh trip walk on 9 consecutive days, ascends 13,000 ft, and summits Cader in the dark, arriving at dawn.

We can’t do African heat, altitude sickness, dust or permanent snows, but anyone who does the trip will get as good a sense as they’re going to get for £250 all-in.

So I’m thinking of renaming it Africa in Wales.
